Week 2: Techniques

We started off by recapping what music is. After going over last weeks session, we then moved onto what techniques are needed to create a piece of music. We each came up with a small list or diagram of what we thought techniques are needed to create a song. Each of these are the fundamental keys which are needed to put together a piece.

After each contributing ideas to the chart, we were put in pairs to make up our own composition based around some lyrics given off Hayley. Initially thinking about this task, I thought we were really going to struggle in terms of putting together chords since none of us are piano geniuses but it was a lot easier than I thought once we actually got into it.
